Another "Threatening" letter to my congressman

I'd like to think that this will make a difference.

The Democratic leadership and way forward since this past November 2006 has been a tragedy. All of the hopes and wishes the people had in you to do what was right for our country has not seemed to have made an impact on your decision making process. You were elected for one thing: to change our country from being run into the ground by the Bush administration into something of a renewal of the American ideals. In the seven months since that time you have yet to realize the people’s dream. You have yet to do one single thing to hold this administration accountable for anything.

Why is it so hard for everyone in Congress to say the word IMPEACH? This administration has gone so far beyond the ramifications for impeachment but yet only a select few has had the courage, the conviction and the commitment to the office in which the American people entrusted their judgment to utter this word.

No other president in this nation’s history has trampled upon in such disregard the one thing that makes this country so great. The Constitution was created to give the people control of the government but yet obeying and listening to the people seems to be the last thing on this government’s mind.

Have you become so afraid of this administration yourself? Is it that you just don't care enough about the people you’re supposed to represent to do the right thing for this country and them? Why hasn’t this word crossed your mind or come from your mouth?

You, the government, need to be fearful of its people for one day they will wake up and realize they’re being governed by a group more concerned about their own aspirations than about obeying the people.
