Freedom of speech and the threat of HR 1955
The video production itself is kind of cheesy but it's content is very real.
In essence, HR 1955 (the violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism prevention act, which passed with an amazing 404 to 6) would not only make a stereotypical terrorist act illegal, [b]but[/b] protesting against government ideas could be perceived as terrorist acts, intellectual discussions i.e. websites, blogs, etc., terrorist acts, political groups, anti war groups, peace groups, etc. etc. to be a terrorist acts; [b]anything[/b] and [b]everything[/b] the government wishes to classify as a terrorist act would be so under HR 1955. This is a blatant attack on the First Amendment!
Fascism is slowly creeping into our democracy, little by little and, as I've stated before, soon our rights to change government "attacks" such as HR 1955 will no longer exist and we'll be powerless to stop anything and will be subject to everything.

A Bipartisan Letter to ALL of Congress About the Reasons for Impeachment
Almost four thousand American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens continually dying while you are playing politics. Are your political careers and party affiliations more important than human life?
Why are you not willing to sacrifice your careers to save the lives of people? What is it going to take for you to uphold your sworn constitutional duty? This president is guilty of:
1. Deceiving Congress, the media, & the American public about the reasons for going to war in Iraq;
2. Secret spying on Americans without search warrants or judicial review;
3. Claiming presidential authority to detain indefinitely anyone, including U.S. citizens, as “enemy combatants” without charge, without counsel, & without the right of habeas corpus;
4. The torture & abuse of military detainees in Guantanamo, Iraq, & Afghanistan;
5. Covert abduction of detainees to secret prisons in other countries to be interrogated through torture;
6. Undermining the Constitutional separation of powers by changing hundreds of Congressional laws with “signing statements,” & acting in defiance of Congressional subpoenas;
7. Abusing presidential power in keeping secret their actions from legislative, judicial, & public scrutiny.
Yet you have sat idly by for the past six years while he has raped and abused the Constitution of the United States in which it contains five separate articles about impeachment. Impeachment is the most widely discussed power the forefathers addressed in the Constitution yet you just brush it aside. By ignoring impeachment or even the conversation of, you are ignoring your constitutional duties and therefore failing your congressional office.
You state that “…These were long, protracted, and divisive fights which diverted the attention of the Congress from the pressing problems facing the country. With less than a year and a half left in the president’s term in office, it is doubtful whether the House and Senate could complete actions in the months remain… Congress is better served devoting our attention to the important and vital work of bringing our troops home form Iraq, tackling the long neglected domestic priorities here at home and doing all we can to force this administration to respond to the will of the American people.”
There is no greater problem or threat facing our country at this time than George W. Bush and Richard Cheney! With still sixteen months left in office, the growing disdain for the war, the countless crimes against humanity and the American people and the continual erosion of rights and freedoms, the time is now for action in impeaching the president and vice president before there is no America left to speak of.

A Letter to the President
What kind of despicable human being are you? The deaths of almost three thousand human beings on September 11, 2001, the continuing deaths of almost four thousand American soldiers and contractors in Iraq and the continuing daily deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens is on your head.
Comparing you to Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussein is not justifiable and does them a great disrespect. When they tortured and slaughtered citizens of their own country and other countries around the world, at least they had the courage to admit and own up to what they were doing. But not you sir, you hide below a blanket of terrorism to continue an unjust war when you are, in fact, a terrorist yourself.
You are, in one respect, equivalent to Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein in the sense that you are, by all accounts, a dictator. You bring great shame to your “elected” office because you have, in the name of national security, continually violated and raped the most sacred document in America, the Constitution. Who are you, but a dictator, to have the gall to do such a thing?
Impeachment is listed in five different articles in the Constitution. You, no doubt, fall under at least one of those articles. It’s a shame that the United States Congress has become such a laughable extension of this government or else you would, as you so rightly deserve, be impeached and tried as a fascist dictator guilty of treason and high crimes and misdemeanors including murder of American and foreign citizens, occupation and threats of war against other countries and election fraud, just to name a few.
I’m sure by the end of this letter I’ll have been secretly wiretapped, my bank account viewed without authority and all the files and websites I’ve viewed on my computer made into a nice neat FBI file, but I don’t care! Don’t be a coward and do it in secret, come right out and tell me you’re violating my constitutional rights for absolutely no reason other than I’ve pointed out the truth!

Just Another Post About the Lack of Care
There's so much apathy in people today that its no wonder why they get shit on by those in command.
Think back to the days in the '60s when people actually gave a damn and a corrupt president, much less corrupt than the current one, was brought down.
People need to start caring soon or the constitution will be, in George Bush's words, a worthless piece of paper. I for one don't want that to happen.
It is hard to think, in Homer Simpson's words, what can I do as an individual? But when everyone has the same defeatist attitude, nothing will get done. When that attitude starts to change into we as individuals can make all the change! then the government by the people and of the people will begin to change.

Our Government IS Killing US!!!
Something I wrote back in Dec of 05, and it still seems relevant today:
Our government is killing us one at a time, little by little! More concerned with the rest of the world to care about our own world. What is it going to take for us to do more, how can people be so complacent and sit idly by while the government destroys our rights, invades and occupies countries in the name of the United States?!
It angers and saddens me at the same time to hear music that does nothing to promote what's really going on and to see reality shows instead of news breaks showing that the people are fed up with what's going on and doing something about it!!!
This country needs to be shaken out of their Paris Hilton reality show lives and start to give a damn! The time is upon us where something needs to publicly happen!

A Letter To Mr. Conyers Demanding Impeachment!
Dear sir,
I watched the video of your speech and I was quite moved to finally see another politician having the same understanding as the people and listening to the people. I’m glad you haven’t sold out like Madam Speaker by totally ruling out impeachment before it has even been discussed.
I am in a wheelchair and on the back of it I have a sticker stating “Impeach Bush” and everyday I have at least one person telling me that they want it to! So I know that the people want it, some representatives, including yourself and Mr. Kucinich, and a few senators know it as well. What is it going to take for the rest of Congress to listen to the people?!
I know this isn’t the greatest or longest letter you have or will receive, but it’s a letter from a person, a citizen of this great country who wants what you can start. Please don’t be like Madam Speaker and ignore your constitutional duties, our country depends on it!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for having the courage to do what you know is right even if you are one of the only ones!

The Disgraceful Congress Shines Once Again
Once again checks and balances and the Constitution have been thrown aside. We need to vote against any congressperson that votes "Yes" to any of these illegal bills that blatantly violate the Constitution.
America is becoming the exact opposite of what it was founded on and the ideals it is based on.
How much longer are we going to allow our representatives and leaders that trash and disregard the Constitution whenever they feel like doing so?
The Constitution clearly states: "That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. ...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security."
I know I've stated above many times before and I will continue to do so until we all have the courage to do so or until our representatives get it through their heads!
The Constitution has been disregarded far too much by the Bush administration and most of Congress for far too long. I feel that it is our right and our duty to remove them and anyone who violates the people's constitutional rights!

We Need to Purge Our Government!
I just called my congressman (Rep. C.A. Ruppersberger (D-MD 2nd)) for the fifth week in a row trying to get his position on HR 333 and I finally got an answer.
To paraphrase, he's basically saying that because there's only a year and a half left in the vice president's term that impeachment proceedings would take up too much time in the House when they should be focusing on other things. Bringing home the troops, ending the war in Iraq, etc. etc. I told the woman I was talking to that impeachment would solve both of those problems but I don't think she was hearing me!
I don't understand why a representative of the people does what he thinks should be done instead of listening to the people he represents. Though the woman I was talking to said that the congressman felt like he was doing the will of the people based on the 2006 elections. I told her that the people are demanding impeachment but again, I don't think she was hearing me!
What is it going to take to get these people, the People's people, to start doing the will of the people!? I think it's going to take some people, people like us, to run as independents against the incumbents for the actual will of the majority of U.S. citizens to get done!
Democratic congressional men and women, minus a few of course, more and more are making me have disgust for the Democratic Party. No matter what Democrats say about Republicans being partisan, the same can be said about Democrats. Politics is a horrible game no matter if you're a Democrat or Republican.
Dennis Kucinich is one of the few people that I think really cares and wants to make a difference as president. It's a shame that, as I've stated before, it almost doesn't matter your ideals as long as you have the millions to run.
I also blame the media. It seems as though they've already predicted who the next president will be. All I hear every day on the news is Hillary did this or Obama said that. They don't even talk about the people who have real ideas for the country like Kucinich.
I hope there's an upset and Kucinich is elected president! I think that will be the first day that America is returned to its original ideals!

Stop Wasting Time with Gonzales
Of course, this would be a small victory but I think it's shifting away from whom should really be impeached. With the time that it will take Congress to impeach Gonzales, that's less time to focus on the true criminals and give them more time to plan terrorist activities so they can enact Marshall Law.
Congress really needs to focus on what the people truly want, the impeachment of Bush and Cheney. I don't understand why they're wasting their time on Gonzales. The evidence is overwhelming and I hear far too often members of Congress saying that they've broken laws time and again, they're the worst administration in modern political times and that they're the most impeachable as well!
What more needs to be done until Congress lifts their hands from their eyes to see what their ears have been telling them all along?!

Tell Congress to Ban Paperless Voting
Paperless voting is NOT what the founders had in mind when talking about a government by the people. Without paper voting, a receipt for your vote, how will a discrepancy ever be resolved? Are we supposed to take the vendors word of the winner? What if, in all probability, the 2000 elections WERE, in fact, tampered with? Can the integrity of our constitution ever be upheld?
If the winner of an election is held solely on paperless ballot, then it only takes the person with the most money and the least morals to win. How is that any way for a country to survive?

Impeachment Validation
It is amazing to me, it seems like what we’ve all started is beginning to have validity with everyone I speak with.
Last night I went out to a bar that I was quite uncomfortable with at first. It was one of those types of bars that you would think would be definitely pro Bush.
So I sat there for a little while in my uncomfortable state thinking to myself ”these people are probably pissed off at me because of my impeach Bush bumper sticker on the back of my wheelchair.”
Then, someone came up to me saying how great of a statement I was making and how he and everyone he knows feels the exact same way! Needless to say I was quite relieved about how the situation had turned. After that, another guy and girl started to say, again, how great the sticker was and how he is surprised he hadn’t seen more of them.
After talking with them for a little while, I overheard them talking with each other about how it almost doesn’t matter whom the next president is they can’t do any worse than Bush has done.
I realized that just by having an “Impeach Bush” sticker on the back of my wheelchair is giving people the opportunity to think about how horrible things are and that impeachment is the only option left to save America from George W. Bush’s dictatorship-like reign of terror. I’m glad I can do that and I’m glad to see more people than I thought who have the same idea!
In all, at least twenty people (only counting the ones who had the nerve to actually say something to me) since the April 28th “Impeachment” spelling at the Washington Monument in D.C. have told me how great my sticker is, how thankful they are of what I’m doing and saying and how they absolutely agree that Bush must be impeached!

The Amazing, Disappearing Iraqi Parliament
I can't believe that the Iraqi parliament is also taking a three week vacation during the month of August because they say it's too hot! It's too hot for them to sit in their air-condition not doing anything for the political stability of Iraq while the American soldiers are outside every single day! It's just amazing the lack of care they take in trying to stabilize their country. It almost makes me sick to think that they're more worried about sweating then about U.S. soldiers dying everyday to protect their country.
A Scary Time for the United States As We Know It
My prediction is that while the U.S. Congress is away on their month long summer break in August, "Iran" will "Conveniently attack" one the of the three U.S. naval ships that are in the Persian Gulf. This is the exact same thing that happened August 2nd and 4th in 1964 by the "North Vietnamese" known as the Gulf of Tonkin resolution, which allowed Lyndon Johnson to escalate the war in Vietnam.
Bush can then just assert a state of emergency and then, by all accounts, he is a "dictator" of the United States as set forth in NSPD51 and HSPD20 which basically state that "in the event of a state of emergency not limited to a terrorist attack, the executive branch will assume all power over the legislative branch, judicial branch and all state and territorial governments".

The Country Demands Impeachment!
How many more thousands of troops need to die? How many more troops need to have life altering injuries? How many more hundreds of thousands Iraqis need to die? How many more people need to demand impeachment? How many more lies need to be told?
These are all questions that should not need to be asked but yet the death and destruction and lies continue. The Bush administration has blatantly lied to the American people on numerous occasions yet they are still continuing with their slow destruction of this country. We have lost, slowly but surely, constitutional rights all for the good of the “War on terror”.
The people have had enough! When a number like 72% of Democrats, 56% of Independents and 20% of Republicans are in favor of impeachment, when is Congress going to listen? The people have spoken yet their representatives have failed to listen and act.
The president wants to wait until September to get an updated report that is going to be the exact same situation, if not worse, as is what is currently going on. President Bush is using the brave men and women in the military in a sick political game as if they are disposable.
I ask you now, as members of the media, whose job it is to rise to the moral high ground, what are you going to do about this administration that has broken laws, taken away constitutional rights and flat out lied to you and me and all of America to trick us into war?!
Over 3,600 Americans, our brothers and sisters, have died in an immoral and illegal war. How many more is a going to take?
These are all questions that should not need to be asked but yet the death and destruction and lies continue. The people have had enough! When a number like 72% of Democrats, 56% of Independents and 20% of Republicans are in favor of impeachment, when is Congress going to listen? The people have spoken yet their representatives have failed to listen and act.
The president wants to wait until September to get an updated report that is going to be the exact same situation, if not worse, as is what is currently going on. President Bush is using the brave men and women in the military in a sick political game as if they are disposable.
I ask you now, as members of the media, whose job it is to rise to the moral high ground, what are you going to do about this administration that has broken laws, taken away constitutional rights and flat out lied to you and me and all of America to trick us into war?!
Over 3,600 Americans, our brothers and sisters, have died in an immoral and illegal war. How many more is a going to take?

A Letter to Senator George Voinovich
I just sent this letter to Senator George Voinovich, the senator that told Karl Rove "the president needs to salvage his legacy." I guess we'll see tomorrow if it made a difference.
Your political statement maneuver is quite transparent. It's impossible to believe that you're as naive as your statements make you out to be. To honestly believe that what you said to Karl Rove actually made it to the president, even as a sincere concern is laughable. Do you believe the most important thing for the president to do is to salvage his legacy? What about the 3,600+ AMERICAN LIVES that have been lost that will never have a chance at a legacy?
It is one thing to make a statement like yours and actually mean it and finally put your heart into what's right instead of what's right for the GOP but if this is only political then to hell with you and the GOP.
We'll see if your heart is where your mouth is come tomorrow if you're part of the filibuster. If so, then you're a bold faced liar and should resign in shame. If you're not part of it, I commend you and hope more of your party can vote with their hearts and the will of their people instead of with their party.

My Revelation
Earlier this evening I was watching the news for about 15-20 minutes when I decided to come in to my computer and had a crazy revelation. I opened word and turned on my microphone. The following is edited only because the microphone wrote some of the wrong words but other than that, this is what came out. I didn't read it until at least 2 hours afterward. I just thought it was extremely strange so I thought I'd share it.

Already building up ever so slowly without realization, the media is telling us that Al Qaeda is trying to sneak into the country so that when they “Actually” do it won’t be that big of a surprise to us.
I predict that sometime in the next year before the 2008 elections that there will be a large-scale “terrorist attack” in the United States. Throughout the next year Bush will slowly, for our protection, takeaway more rights and more rights until we’re left with nothing. Then after the large scale “Terrorist attack”, he will declare a police state where no one will have any rights. I.D. cards will be issued to everyone. There will be police walking down the street with machine guns. There will be a night curfew where anyone caught out without permission will be jailed without cause and taken away.
Within this next year up until the “Terrorist attack” people will slowly start to leave the United States and gradually more and more and more (It will be like when people were trying to leave Berlin before the Soviets put up the wall). Rations will begin. Military draft will begin starting at age sixteen. The handicapped, sick and elderly will be left to fend for themselves. (I have to remind myself to leave by February 14th 2008 to a Western European state or a central/South American country.)
40 ft. walls will be constructed on the borders of Mexico/America and Canada/America. The borders will extend 500 yds into either ocean on either side of the country, patrolled by large battleships (though questions will be asked, no actions will be taken) and each border will be constantly patrolled by the military on the ground, in the water and in the sky.
George Bush must be in impeached no later than March 17th 2008. Time is of the essence. Politics should not lead; they should lead with their mind and their hearts. This will be hard in this country but must prevail. (Leave no later than February 14th 2008)

A Quick Rant On Organized Religion
There's one thing I would like to know, how come every time something good happens it's thank Jesus or God and when something bad happens it wasn't Jesus or God? Take for instance me. I wasn't a bad person never hurt anyone. In all actuality I was leading a good life and then all of a sudden Jesus or God or perhaps it was the pointy tailed devil who came out one night and fucked my life up. Now, I guess I should be saying "Praise Jesus I'm still alive", but that just doesn't cut it for me. I hope you can see why I'm so cynical when it comes to a man sitting up in heaven and a devil just under the tectonic plates.
When I think of religion and all of the seemingly cult-like brainwashing that seems to go on with Christianity, Catholicism, etc. I just can't seem to relate. If there's any type of "Religion" I tend to gravitate toward it would be Buddhism. Living in harmony with the earth and all living creatures (including mankind) is what makes sense to me.
I guess what has happened to me has changed my views on religion (especially organized) into living in harmony with everything.
I also feel that the Bible is only a guide. Fictional stories that may have happened on some level but are basically ways to teach people to live better.

It's My Right and Duty
As a citizen of the U.S., it's my right and duty as well as every other American to call for the impeachment of Dick Cheney and George Bush for the atrocities and blatant disregard of the laws that govern our country. Far too long we've allowed this to go on and we shouldn't allow it any longer!
I feel that Cheney should only be a starting point. Actually, I think they should both face impeachment at the same time.
It's one of the things Congress was given by the founders in case one administration feels its above the rule of law, which this administration has done so repeatedly time and again.
Although I also feel that the former Republican lead Congress has also played a small part in this. They let this administration get away with far too many things in their beginning years.
But I do believe this democratically run congress now has a duty to the American people to do what is right for this country and for the will of the people!

Isn't it a little too convenient
Isn't it a little too convenient that just the other day the White House claimed executive privilege over the subpoenas that Congress sent them and now today there just so happens to be a "Terrorist plot foiled"?
I know this has been mentioned a few times before in the past that whenever there's something bad happening to the White House they just so happened to uncover a terrorist plot just before it happens! I can't believe people are still gullible enough to believe anything this White House says!

Congress should override the President's veto of the Stem Cell Research Bill
With everything that I've written to my members of Congress I won't be surprised if I was being watched by the FBI! :D
Congress should override the President's veto of the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act.
Thanks to (among other things) the incompetence of George W. Bush and the lack of caring for the hundreds of thousands of Americans paralyzed like myself his latest veto of the stem cell bill is like vetoing my chances of having a semi normal life.
A drunk driver hit me almost five years ago and embryonic stem cells are my only hope at been able to walk again. I've had adult stem cell transplant without any positive results. Embryonic stem cells are the only hope for spinal cord injuries.
Imagine every day waking up and not being able to move. Imagine every day not being able to feel the person you love touching your body. Imagine every day relying on someone else to do practically everything for you. I bet if you took that minute to imagine what it would be like to be that person who can't move or feel or do anything for yourself, you would change your thinking in a heartbeat.
But instead of helping to heal people and make their lives more complete this president has blindly killed and murdered Iraqis and even American soldiers all while occupying a country that had nothing to do with September 11th.
For some reason the Congress has yet to put a stop to this administration's rampage around the world and total disregard for the constitution of America.
I insist that the Congress do something about this president who is the worst president in American history!
You work for the people! When the rest of us have become so sickened by the way this country is being ran into the ground there will be a great uproar throughout this country by the people!

Another "Threatening" letter to my congressman
I'd like to think that this will make a difference.
The Democratic leadership and way forward since this past November 2006 has been a tragedy. All of the hopes and wishes the people had in you to do what was right for our country has not seemed to have made an impact on your decision making process. You were elected for one thing: to change our country from being run into the ground by the Bush administration into something of a renewal of the American ideals. In the seven months since that time you have yet to realize the people’s dream. You have yet to do one single thing to hold this administration accountable for anything.
Why is it so hard for everyone in Congress to say the word IMPEACH? This administration has gone so far beyond the ramifications for impeachment but yet only a select few has had the courage, the conviction and the commitment to the office in which the American people entrusted their judgment to utter this word.
No other president in this nation’s history has trampled upon in such disregard the one thing that makes this country so great. The Constitution was created to give the people control of the government but yet obeying and listening to the people seems to be the last thing on this government’s mind.

Our founding fathers did it, why can’t we!?
The government should be afraid of the people not the people afraid of its government. The government is nothing without its people but for so long it has succeeded in tricking people that they should live in fear of their government.
Just as our forefathers did in attempts to separate themselves from England, wrote a Declaration of Independence in which stated: That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. ...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
I don't understand what it's going to take or how many more rights need to be taken away before people wake-up out of this "Sleep" that everyone seems to be under and start to give a damn!
